Default P0335 issue

Having an intermittent problem. Replaced what i thought was the correct sensor (in the timing cover behind the crank pully). Still having issues, google is literally zero help.
Car is a basically stock 2000 EM1, stock rebuild on the B16A2, has header, intake, exhaust not tuned. It is legit limp mode too, 3500 rpm limit, running very rich, etc....

It cranks over great, sometimes it cracks right off sometimes it cranks a little longer. When it takes longer to start is when it's in limp mode. For as big as the Honda enthusiast community is, its the hardest thing to find a straight answer for I've ever had, some people are saying that sensor is the one I changed, some say its in the distributor, some say its an ecu problem. Id like to know so I can at least figure know where to start. Wiring looks fine tracing it back into the main loom for the sensor in the timing cover and the distributor both. Car is more or less stock, about 10k on an engine rebuild, has a header, exhaust and intake. Timing belt was done during the rebuild, still has plenty of tension and the way it runs when its running good I'm confident the timing belt didn't skip a tooth or anything weird like that. Problem just started all of the sudden, one day i was driving to work 65 mph down the road and limp mode. It comes and goes doesn't matter if its warmed up or not. Im getting ready to sell the car and I'm already going to probably take a $300-500 loss on it if its running good, the way it is now im probably talking $1000. Im just trying to get the car right unlike the guy I bought it from.

Be happy it was me that decided to toss in some info instead of just being a dick and replying, "search is your friend".

What car/engine and year is this regarding? When you say "limp mode" do you mean ACTUAL limp mode - Solid CEL while driving, can't rev past 3500 rpm, engine running suuuuper rich, stupid high idle? Or do you mean "limp mode" as in car just driving like **** and not running the way you want or expect it to? There are a number of things that can cause this problem, depending on the car and engine. You can throw parts at it until you eventually solve the problem or burn it to the ground, or you can help troubleshoot.

You do any other testing? Checking wiring with voltmeter specifically? If so, what did you test and what are the readings?

Visually inspected wiring, couldn't find what anything was supposed to read or even if i was checking the correct sensor.

Test with a voltmeter. You can visually inspect all day long but that won't tell you you're shorted somewhere.
