If you could get the CEL code that your getting, that would be extreemly helpful. It could be a few things, but you first should by the 02 sensor that is specific to your model and year. I assume you have your stock headers? sense the o2 sensor is screwing into the manifold... If you did not buy a direct fit you had to splice the wires... make sure you have the wires connected to the right ones ( the ground is connected to the ground... etc. ) if you put the heater wire to a ground, or got something mixed up... it will kill the circuit and throw a CEL code. If the 02 sensor that you put on there works for your model and year, its also possible that the 02 sensor that you put on there was bad as well.

1. Pull of your CEL code and research it and probable causes.
2. Get the 02 sensor that is direct for you model and year ( they should be around 60.00 at an auto zone for a non direct fit )
3. make sure each wire is connected to the correct circuit.

hope this helps

I am also throwing a code for 02 sensor because I have no cat. Is there a way to buy pass this I heard YOu can put it into the header and I would not need to buy a new cat. Is this true?

this is not true. Assuming that you have an OBD2 ecu with no catalytic converter on your car. simply putting another bung in the header WILL NOT WORK.

If you have an OBD 0 Vtec ecu and you are getting a secondary O2 sensor code, then you can fix it by installing the second O2 into the header in the location pictured below.
