Greenish carbon fiber hood. Did I get screwed?
So I bought a new carbon fiber hood for my del sol and it's finally come. Of course while i'm out of town, but my fiancee sent me pictures saying it looks green. It's supposed to be black and sure enough it looks green! WTH? So tell me what you think.

You're correct it is Carbon Kevlar, but does that mean anything? Here's a picture of what's advertised of the product, nothing similar. What y'all think? Think it's ugly and I should get what's pictured? Or keep it?

I don't know what prices are these days but isn't Kevlar more expensive then Carbon?

My car's currently stock black, but will be stealth flat black. I'm not sure about the prices but it cost about $600 bucks. But in all the pics from the site the hood's black, not this greenish color, so i'm not too sure about that...

put that **** on the car n try it out if u dont like it email where ever u bought it n tell them its not what u ordered n is gonna send it back...i wud keep it, every1 has black this will make ur car stand out!

Sounds like they did send you a carbon kevlar hood instead of a regular carbon fiber one. They seem to have that sickly yellowing to it.

I sent an email to the company, we'll see how it plays out. I guess I just don't know how I feel about the green, I already have some carbon fiber accents on my car and I don't think it would look good. I'm trying to like it, though like I said i'm not at home so I haven't even seen it in person yet. Blah...

It's carbon kevlar...it's usually more expensive and IMHO looks kinda cool. I'd say keep it. That's just me.

If you think you dont want it I would not install it. They might refuse to help you if you installed it. If you really ordered plain cf then they should have no problem switching it for you and refunding some money assuming its cheaper.

I wouldn't if it's going to mess with the plans you have for your car. You should get what you paid for. I think it looks like a regular C/F hood when the clear coat yellows.

Ugh I don't know what to do. I got a couple responses from the company and they're willing to give me some money back to make me happy, but I still don't know if i'd be happy enough. Sounds to me they just don't want to pay for shipping. Anyone wanna buy it for 600 shipped? lol.
