overheating problems
My car is overheating during high speeds and I have pretty much gotten it down to a circulation problem. The thermostat is new and has been tested and the radiator is brand new. The coolant levels go from full to empty in 20-30 miles with no visible leaks except for the coolant shooting out of the coolant reserve tank lid becuase it is boiling over. This tells me that its either a clog or the water pump is bad. Does this sound correct?
One other thing is for some reason there is air in the system that will come out of the tube that goes into the coolant reserve tank as air bubbles. It will come out when the coolant is cold or hot and will come out pretty much nonstop making allot of bubbles like blowing though a straw into a glass of water. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: overheating problems (scoobyghost)
How many miles? I had this problem before and the new water pump fixed it. Could just be air in the system. Bleed it just in case.

Re: (deadline)
the car has 130,000 but the timing belt and water pump where replaced at 115,000. I don't think there is any white smoke coming from the tail pipe and I checked the oil and didn't see any coolant mixing there though the head gasket.

And you can hear the fan come on while you are driving? You can also check the Coolant Temp Switch on the Thermostat housing. It could possibly be bad or heavily corroded if your fan is not coming on.

Yeah, I was the one who responded to that thread if its the same one you are talking about. For a 92-95(correct me if im wrong) the Coolant Relay is on the far right of the box (the column - going vertically which is up and down) and its the top relay (should be black in color). There should only be 3. And the fuse for the fan is in the top row, 2nd from the right (its a 15a)
