Overheating Issues
Any help is appreciated. I have an LS/Vtec Turbo swap in my coupe. Its a B18A block with JG spec 9.2:1 pistons, JG Spec rods, B16 head, GSR cams. The block is sleeved (still open deck design) w/ JG block guard. I already replaced the waterpump, thermostat, fan switch, and thermoswitch. The car's temp. starts rising while at idle. I dont understand it. The fan turns on, the coolant is circulated (both hoses are hot/warm). The only problem I found is that the air coming from when the fan blows is that the air is not warm or hot. The air is actually still cold, but I know the motor is hot cause the coolant is steaming and sometimes bubbling (like its boiling). I dont know what else it could be. I still have the stock radiator and fan (but im putting in the Koyo and Flex-a-lite fan in next week). If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Re: Overheating Issues (Exxel82)
you probably have some buildup in your radiator not allowing the coolant to clow fast enough to carry the heat away from the engine.
that would explain the cold air coming out from the fan.
and replacing the rad would take care of it for sure.
