Overheated Engine Please advise

Overheated Engine Please advise
Hi
I have a JDM Honda Civic Sir that overheated, water seemed to be leaking into the combustion chamber and steam was coming out the exhaust pipe. Over time steam would get under the valve cover and cause the oil lining the valve cover to turn milky but the oil in the sump was always normal. I ended up just shaving the head but didn't pressure test because the mechanic said that the B16A rarely ever cracks.
The machine shop said they shaved it about 6 thou which they say wasn't much, after the mechanic re-assembled the engine it lasted two weeks and then showed the same symptoms.
I would like to get some advise on if i should get the block shaved as well, is it common for the block on a B16A to warp?
Thanks in advance

Re: Overheated Engine Please advise
Thanks for the response...when i shaved the head i changed the Head Gasket as well and it still started to leak water into the combustion chamber again, so either the block needs shaving as well or the head is cracked. Is it normal from the block to need shaving?
