over heating and some holes on the timing cover..
my 95 ex civic is over heating and now has some holes in the timing cover that i did not see before. one hole is under the motor mount(sp) and another is to the right of it but looks like it was not from heat. the civic is stock. what is the proble. also i had to fill the radiator almost all the way but the over flow was the middle of max and min.

I don't think the holes in the timing cover are causing the car to overheat.
Have you replaced your thermostat recently?
It almost sounds like you might be losing fluid if the radiator was low. Check hoses and radiator for leaks and do a leakdown test if you can. This will tell you where the problem is.
ie:Headgasket, radiator, etc.
