Turn on the heat thats what I did in my other car. Check and see if you have power to the fan motor. Make sure the wires aren't burned up. Did you check all of the fuses under the hood. I don't know what else to say. Does it work when you turn on your A/C.

Re: over-heating question (Slow CX)
Turn on your AC, if you have it. This should make the fan come on automatically. If it doesn't you may need to replace fan. This happened to my friends Del Sol a while back. We put the radiator and fan off of my old civic on it and it worked fine after that.
Do check to see if you are getting power to the fan first though.

if it isnt the fuses or a burnt harness (check to see if harness is even plugged in) then its your thermo switch,..this turns on the fan when you start to go above the normal temperture level of your car,...if you start to over heat,..blast your heat till you start crusing again

I had the same problem man(thought it was my fan)....changed my temp switch, relay, thermostat. It endud up being a bad radiator cap.

How can a bad radiator cap cause overheating? My car's also overheating, but the fans do seem to turn on at the correct time. I'm not losing any coolant either, both upper and lower radiator hoses are hot.

Re: over-heating question (euclid)
try jumping your radiator. unplug it and get a wire and connect the two prongs together, if the fan turns on, your radiator is good. also, you can check the resistance on the radiator fan switch. it is on the block. if you don't mind that it's always on, just unplug it and stick a wire in there. i've seen alot of people do that.

Re: over-heating question (tominos)
don't connect the fan directly because doing so, the aux fan may loose carbon and it won't function well. check the thermoswitch and the thermostat if it is functioning, maybe you need to replace your auxiliary fan with a newer one. also check the water pump.
