Default Over heating issues

So I did a build in my 94 del sol with a d16z6. I used a oem head gasket with arp head studs. On first start up it idled kinda weird I thought maybe I didn't bleed the cooling system right so I rebleed it with my spill free cap. Took it on a test drive got half a mile started over heating made it back home, pressure tested the cooling system and found no leaks. Rebleed the system and I noticed the lower rad hose was cooler then the upper. I thought maybe my new thermostate was junk so I replaced it and rebleed it. I noticed I didn't have heat either. Still has the weird idling all the coolant hoses are new and so is the water pump. Any help would be appreciated, could it be that I flipped the head gasket around? No oil leaks I also pulled the spark plugs no sign of coolant on the plugs.

no heat? possible clogged heater core. run it, check for a temp difference in the two lines.
