i straight wired my fan to a switch and every time i drive my car i left the fan on the entire drive and even a few minutes after i turned the car off (persay i go in walmart for 5 minutes) if you want to hook it back to the air temp sensor (i beleive thats what it origonaly wires to) then im not sure if the stock fan will keep the b18 cooled off enough, hopefully i helped doubt if i did thogh i tried
