ok so im new here im mitch!!!
i have a 1994 civic dx it has an engine swap it has the B18A1 Engine and B16 Heads, performance parts include K&N Air Intake, Borla Muffler with 2 1/4 pipe to the heads no headers yet sorry to disapoint ya!!!it has AEM True Time Cams, Venom High Flow Fuel Rail

so anyways heres the problem for one that i hate is that the radiator fan is operated by a switch came like that, i hate it!!! next it has no thermostat just the ring!!!! so the car always runs cold and the vtec dosnt like that very much so i put a thermostat in it kewl right!!!! WRONG over heated the **** outta the engine had to keep the heat on to keep it from overheatin, SO I NEED HELP!!!if i re wire the fan to where it needs to go and do the thermostat idk ive never been so confused someone please help me i want the vtec to kick in but the engine is always cold and the engine needs to be at optimal runnin temp for the vtec to kick in!!!please help

OOO by the way when i run it without the thermostat and the fan on it obviously never heats but i wanna be able to have the engine at the optimum temp

o and goin' back to what 1sick4dr just posted i wouldnt mind leavin the switch hooke directly up i just wanna be able to run the norm temp

Default

i straight wired my fan to a switch and every time i drive my car i left the fan on the entire drive and even a few minutes after i turned the car off (persay i go in walmart for 5 minutes) if you want to hook it back to the air temp sensor (i beleive thats what it origonaly wires to) then im not sure if the stock fan will keep the b18 cooled off enough, hopefully i helped doubt if i did thogh i tried
