my frieng just put a vtec head on his 92 dx block and it was runnin cool for a little bit then it started over heating. i was wondering if anyone might know tha problem?

could be alot of things, check for any loose hoses leaking coolant. Is the coolant low??

we already check all the hoses and put coolant in it and it still over heats.

-Did ya check to see if the head was previously warped?
-Did you torque the head down properly?
-You did get a new headgasket right?

Check your coolant and see if it's kind of milky. If so you have headgasket/warped head issues.

we got a new head gasket, torqued it down properly, and i really dont know if the head was warped.
