Default Out with the old... In with the new

well, I have been wanting to replace my rear Suspension Techniques 19mm sway bar for a 22mm ITR sway bar, and I finally saw a good deal on a ITR rear sway bar with gsr lcas and the beaks kit too for only $150 bucks.

Installation was pretty straight forward. At the same time, I installed some Energy Suspension bushings on the rear gsr lcas, which have been in my closet for almost 2 years.

Here are the pics:

Afterwards, I took it out for a test driive. All I can say is that I am extremely happy with the outcome. I can easily take the off ramps from my freeway at 45+ mph. The car feels more nuetral now. Now I am deciding if I should upgrade the front sway bar too.

Oh btw, I also wanted to show you guys my painted calipers that I painted black. Didn't want it to be really noticeable, and I couldn't stand the way it use to look, very dirty.

Looks sturdy. I planning on gettting the Comptech sway tie bar combo soon. Hopefully it's good.

Quick question. Would i have to drill a extra hole with the beaks kit on a 97 civic or can i use the stock holes on the subframe?
TIA

I think you will need to do some drilling.

Yep, LCA's have nothing to do with the braking system...

The bushings you installed on the integra LCA's, were they from a civic kit or the integra kit?

If you upgrade the front bar, your car will once again be less neutral (more tendency to understeer) than you have it right now. If you like the way it is now, I would leave the front sway bar as is.

If you have the gsr lca's, then you will need the integra rear control arm kit from Energy Suspension.

The lower control arms for the 5th gen and del sols have different bushings which are smaller.

Do you have civic lca's, because I have an extra set of Energy Suspension bushings for a civic.

For the beaks stuff, go hereL
