if they know what they're doing, you shouldnt have a problem, but i suggest you do it yourself. theres nothing like a lil wrench time to put under your belt. its not that hard and it will give you some experience.

I agree I would much rather do it myself than to have a shop do it for me. It doesn't matter how skilled you are, there are always people willing to help. Grab a Helms manual and some tools and have at it!!

Yep..I just went at it my first time in my garage with jackstands and hand tools. I think i am at a total of 7 suspension jobs, 6 at my house and 1 done at my old work.

Re: ordering TEIN SS.... (EKcoupe99)
did it for my 3rd time a couple days ago.
now that i know whats up... man is it easy
basically, take off a few bolts, pull out ur socks/springs, put in new ones!!
course when your not buying FULL coilovers you have to do more work,
like dissasembling the shock/spring combo(P.I.T.A.)

DIY is great until you reach the bolts siezed in the bushings and you snap em off Happens every time I do it, I need to stock up on those little bastards. Good learning experience though for newbies.

Honestly its easy, its like 16 bolts total for the front and back. Just get the right sized tools, a 1.2in drive wratchet, a bottle of PB blaster, and a little hand help propane torch just in case..
Its really not that difficult, i did mine with little to no experience in wrenching also.

Re: ordering TEIN SS.... (92 GSR)
Suspension removal / installation is easy!
If I were to charge someone it would probably be about $75 (depending on how close the person is). To pay more is a rip-off. DIY!!!!! If you run into problems post / search here on HT. I guarantee you'll appreciate it more if you DIY
What is PB blaster? Search time
BTW >>> I installed ebay $100 coilovers last week and ordering Tein SS within a week. The ride sucks ballz on the cheapies

Re: ordering TEIN SS.... (Hybrid93Hatch)
I bought some PB blaster today at the local autoparts store . I can't wait to to use it. I hope it works as good as everybody says it does.
