Options, suggestions, thoughts on new shocks for my 93 delsol si.
Okay Ive been driving myself crazy with this for a while now.
History: 93 delsol si sohc daily driven, HPDE twice a year.
Issue: stock blown 200k mi shocks.
Ideas: I would like to get your thoughts on how these choices compare, I guess bang for the buck
Options,
koni reds- revalvable non adjustable $308
kyb agx- - driven on these before liked em $350 shipped
Both of these teamed up with H&R race spring
Or I could go with a h&r cup kit which essentially is a koni yellow and an h&r race spring combo.
This is all about in the same price range so help me figure out whats a better buy for MY needs. There is entirely too much info to wade through to not really get a definitive answer.
TIA

Do you have springs yet?
Something you may want to consider is just KONI yellows on stock springs (if that's what you have). They'll even up the drop with ~1" in the front and just under 1" in the rear (made a notiecable difference on my del Sol with stock springs). But, if you go this route, and have stock springs, have a shop compress them on. Compressing stock springs is a nightmare.
Otherwise, that H&R Cup kit sounds nice (since it has yellows).

My advice: Koni yellows on stock springs. Then once you save up the money, get some Ground Control coilovers with custom spring rates, and you'll be able to use the yellows with them if you get the proper adapter plates.
