Opinions for motors.
Ok Im looking at a street driven Del sol. Its about 2500lbs now but i figure with every thing all said and done it will be around 2750-2800lbs. I would like to give some type Rs some compition. Its a 1993 del sol S with auto 1.5 non vtech.
Heavy as hell. I want to do it all as best as my car car. Street and daily driving is my first concern. Second drag and auto cross. Ive got my ideas as regareds to what motor to swap in. Whats your opinions? My goal is 220hp at the wheels.
First swap is. LS with Automatic tranny till the real motor is done.
Gsr-turbo later
LS-turbo
H22-turbo
any Ideas on an H23? drawbacks?
I want to get as meny opionions as possible and get all my information first.
I would rather not have Vtec/ls/crv. Just have a bad feeling about the whole thing. even though I know they have some nice numbers.
