"Performance" parts don't make your car worth more.

No way in hell would I pay 9500 for an 8 year old riced out, beat on, teenager car.

Not to mention it sounds like you've messed with vtec, likely hurting the motor or damaging it's chances at longevity, and it has a b16 in it.

$7500 is about right.

Christ on a crutch

What is it with people thinking their Em1's are worth their weight in gold!!

You're tellling me! ****, when I was looking for a good civic to buy, this woman in her 30's that just had boughten a brand new toyota corolla was trying to sell her 99 honda civic ex coupe 5spd with 98K on the motor + tranny, and chassis for 9 grand.. Wouldn't go below $8,700 and only "mod" was an AM CD/MP3 player. I'm like, hell no! I got the car I wanted for 5K.'

To add a 2nd opinion, I'd say you' won't be getting more than 8 grand outta your car unless there's a dumber kid that really wants it. Unlikely.

If they have boat-loads of money, they might (Of course that would beg the question, why the hell are they buying a honda?).. Chances of that would probably be of winning the Lottery..

If it was stock, maybe $7,000. With those modifications, I wouldnt pay more than $4,500 or so

It's worth it to return it to it's stock form, and sell the parts out individually.. Worth more to do it that way.

this is tru but alot of people dont have time for this unless you only have a couple of performance parts but i wouldn't pay more than 8k for any em1 unless it has less than 50k miles... i bought my ebp si this month for 4200 cash and it has 98k on it but it was owned by an old man so thats exactly what i was looking for an em1 thats not beat on

definitely! I had a hard time finding a civic that was stock and not touched by a teenager

seriously, to me, the more teenage mods there are on the car, the less its worth to me.
