Default opinions

Basically i have a friend who is new to hondas and he has a choice btw two hatches and I would like to get some feedback from ppl on honda tech. To start off The D15 eg is boosted. Running about 5 to 6 psi stock internally with a T-28. No body damage nice primer job on it 5 lug conversion. The other hatch has a B16 from a del sol with about 65k on the engine and 192k on the body. It has minor body dents here and there. It runs strong. Basically where im trying to get at is would you rather work with a turbo SOHC or a DOHC Vtec engine with spending more money on making minor body and exhaust changes. Heres the link for the boosted EG. Thanks yall

I'm a little biased. I'm D series for life. They're cheap and plentiful and can put down lots of power for very little money (compared to Bs). There are a couple 400+ whp setups out there that are daily driven. That said, obviously I voted for the D!

I am a B man, once I went DOHC, SOHC just didn't cut it.

I have a turbo D15 but its built and at 12psi its allot of fun. I would go turbo D for now and save for a B and a new turbo manifold for that T-28 if you still want more. Plus you get to go with what ever color you want and get 5 lugs.

IMO, I wouldn't trust buying a boosted car.

boosted d with 5 lug conversion. d's are cheap to replace, you can always upgrade to a b later.

I would never buy a modified car. Stock FTW!
