Opinion on front end repair *pics*
Me and my friends were given a front-end damaged 97 civic LX sedan. I'm trying to decide if we should repair it and sell it, or part it out.
Let me know what you guys think

ok from the pictures I own my own body shop an it looks like your frame is ok look like you need a new bumper new fenders new has light an hood an a radiator support an a new radiator an a fan it would be great to upgrade to the so front end you can do all of his your self the only problem your gonna have is taking out the radiator support an stretch out the pass fender holder....other than that if you know someone that knows how to weld he can weld the radiator suport for you I say fix it an then sell it

thanks for the feedback. yea the frame looks good cuz the bumper was not pushed in at all, only the hood and rad support. I think I can get the front end parts for cheap. how much (ballpark) do you think it would be to fix the rad support? The windshield and the roof dent would need to be repaired too. I'm still wondering if I should spend money to try and fix it or just sell it as it is

I had the same exact damage on my car but on the driver side and my father in law that owns his own body shop also fixed it for $300
he was going to do a full champ white paintjob and fix the crash for $600 all together but I was in too much of a hurry to get back on the road. Seeing as I only had the car for 5 days when I wrecked it, so I just left the front end primered and paid $300

new from honda, the front bulkhead(rad support, rad support panels, lower crossmember) will be about 250. you can find a set of used headlights on ebay for probably around 50 bucks if not less, new hood from honda around 250, and a new bumper from honda will be about 140 or so, so thats about 700 in parts if you buy new from honda minus used headlights...or you could shop around and find used parts for cheap. then if youre not comfortable chopping the original radiator support off to replace it, have someone that has done it before and have them weld up the new front bulkhead assembly... if you play your cards right you could more than likely spend a total of 1200 or less depending on you level of confidence in welding and ability to find a replacement windshield and radiator etc. good luck man
