Default Opinion on 98spec typeR 4-1 header

Getting ready to purcahse full exhaust set up for my EJ with a b18c1 and the prices came out like this...

JDM ITR 98spec 4-1 header - $450.00
Apex world sport muffler - $220
2.5" piping + hi-flow cat - $350

I didn't picture my exhaust set up coming out to $1,000 but is this typeR header worth the hype?

Not 100% sure, but for that price I am sure you could find a better header.

You're going to have a hard time finding a better header for $450, unless you buy something used.

Make sure you get the ITR header bracket too. Good luck

In that price range, I would also look at the Vibrant J-spec 4-2-1 header. It should offer better ground clearance as well as better performance.

You may also want to reconsider the World Sport, since it is a chambered design that isn't ideal from a performance standpoint.

Why don't you just get the WS2 full exhaust? It may have to be modified to fit your car, but you could spend the extra money on a better header. I have an ITR, and I love it

It's not identical to it. I don't remember the specs exactly. I'd rather stick with something OEM than them. To me DC SPORTS = t3h garbage

I bought this ITR header on ebay
brand new for $200 including shipping.
this header helped me get 200whp at tuning day.
I will be getting a better header this summer.
but if you have the money go with a better one
the range header is like $650
here is my 4-1 ITR header with 2.5'' collector
