Opening up brake prop valve
Has anyone ever successfully taken apart a prop valve and used if afterwards? I took my 4040 apart (during my rear disc conversion) just to swap brackets... the helms manual says to never take them apart... could I have screwed it up?

I had to take mine apart to swap over my civic bracket. And then I put it back together the same way I took it apart. Still works fine. Just be carefull, because it is under pressure from the spring inside. Take ur time, and you'll do fine
