I live in Alabama so i think it would be ok. I wouldn't drive the car much at all. I have to wait for R&D to get their T1R and Spoon stuff in.

i dont know about your state,
but in mine there is a BIG BIG fine for running open header.
i did it for a while.. prepare for LOUDNESS.
you will feel your car vibrate, perfect time to pick up the chicks.

put your old exhuast in the back of your car. then if you get pulled over, tell the cop that you just put on some new header and now you old exhuast doesn't fit and you are going to the muffler shop to get it fixed.

I've got a kinda on top question about this. I'll be doing my swap on a sunday (about 3 or 4 weeks) and I know that my OEM ITR ex. manifold to ITR cat isn't going to botl up to my DX B pipe. So how loud will this be after the cat, until I can get to a muffler shop?

Pretty annoying. Keep it under 3-4k and avoid hills and slight upgrades.
Basically, try to go downhill and coast a lot.
(this is coming from a guy that thinks his oe itr set-up w/ greddy sp axle back is loud)

PYR's cars ride around with open header on their cars... you'll feel the top end although you'll probably come out deaf afterwards
