lol, alot of diffrent answears here. it seems as if everyone is just making **** up and putting it on here. this was one hell of a form to read but was quite interesting. but who knows whos right and whos not, so im running open header till i have a problem.

the only thing to look out for that hasnt been discussed is cold temperatures. If its is too cold outside an open header can allow for cold air to creep up and into the valves thus bending them if they cool too quickly. not too common but have heard of it happening

Ran no cat with 2.25 inch stainless steel pipe sticking 3 feet out from it for a month. No problems. Awesome noises.
