Default Online Stores

I just bought a 92 Civic Si with the d16z6 engine. Unfortunately, it spun a rod and now my dad has the crazy idea of rebuilding the whole engine, I'm pretty new to cars and engines and I was wondering if anyone knew of some online stores that sell either the components to rebuild an engine, or sites with cheap engines for sale. Can anyone help me out??

dont listen to ^ unless you want to have a stock motor rebuilt for the same amount you could have a motor built with upgraded rods and pistons that could hold boost and let you make LOTS of power later. If you are on a low budget i would get Tuner Toys rods from http://www.tunertoys.com (get H-beams) and some Suzuki Vitara pistons from a guy with the screen name of "fjt" on http://www.turbod16.com . If you have a little more money to play with you might want to go Eagle H-beam rods and CP pistons. A guy made 405whp with an Eagle rod / Vitara piston combo with a STOCK head and intake mani.

Go the Tuner Toys / Vitara combo you wont regret it.
