One Wheel Peel! But with the wrong wheel?!?!
I have a 00 Civic Si, and yesterday I did a burnout.. I'm not a ricer, I've owned my car for 2 years and this was my first ever.
But anyways, I reved to about 4k and dropped it. The LEFT tire spun instead of the right. Both spun for maybe 1 ft, then the left just took it all. I do not have LSD, so I know it should spin on the side of the tranny, which is the left. Is this normal, why would it do this?
Here's a pic. BTW this was not done with all these cars there, it was done last night at 2am and the lot was 100% empty.
Thanks

Yea It doesn't really bother me because I dont race my stock *** Si, but I always thought that the right tire should spin since thats the side the tranny is on. For the left tire to spin it has to go through the intermediate shaft, just doesn't make sense to me.

Without an LSD it really doesnt matter. The wheel with the least traction will spin regardless. Usually when I dump the clutch both wheels spin, but going around corners it is usually the inside wheel that spins.

I didn't sense that you were joking.. Like you thought getting both tires to spin was the sole purpose of this thread. I don't know though..
Haha, LSD ftw.

makes no difference what side the "tranny" is on, the tire with the least amount of traction at that time will spin...
