One little question...
Ok my alternator went bad on my z6... I have a new one and im replacing it tomorrow I know where and how to do it but my question is when I go to put the belt back on the new alternator do I have to make sure of anything like how tight the belt should be, ect... AND YES I DID "SEARCH" but I didnt see anything on replacing the alternator... thanx I just wanted to make sure!

Just to add alittle technical note to previous said advise, there should be about 1/2 inch of deflection on the center of the largest span of the belt.
