Which one is the best build for drag?
I've recently bought a eg sedan and gunna build that for drag race in a country with a high altitude (+1500m) and a hot and dry weather in summer, cool and dry in fall.
There are a lot of guys with evo (+600bhp), 2jz, S54 mpower and lot more and was thinkin about being a big pain in their *** with my civic.
So, what is the suggestion ?
All-motor K24 tuned?
Boosted B-series?
Boosted Vitara D16?
Which one stands cheaper and reliable?
Thanks all

If you're looking to keep up with 600 AWHP, a Vitara D doesn't stand a chance - you'll shatter sleeves. A B on stock sleeves might make it, but it won't last long, and you'll still need forged internals. A boosted stock bottom end K20 can get into the territory you would need, but will **** your budget right up the ***, and won't use lube or a rubber.
You should start off looking into either a Dart B20 block, or an AEBS/Darton sleeved B18, bored to ~85mm. There you go, I've given you the hard part, now go do your own research and figure it out. You'll have a weight advantage, but they have a huge drivetrain advantage.

I dunno how much i should spend on a boosted k20 or k24,but i've seen a lot of em running with itb, beating gtr and v8.
My big problem is im presently in Canada and wanna ship the engine, tranny and all the important parts to another place to put em together on the chassis.
So i should build the motor and do the setup here before let them go. I have no more time til next summer LOL

A friend of mine had built a vitara D here with something around 400hp output, his best is ∽10.5 s
I was really interested cuz it was running with stock tranny :-o

^Agreed. If the OP was really serious he'd have searched already and asked his friend and anybody else that he could before starting a chatroom style bromance thread. You shouldn't be coming in here pretty much starting from scratch with no idea whatsoever and asking general vague questions and begging for opinions that don't matter.

I think you're talking out of your ***, since no one makes a "kit". I also think you have absolutely no clue what's involved in an AWD conversion. On top of that, you seem to think tossing AWD on your econobox is going to make you suddenly keep up with actual weekend track cars.

Now you're just Googling things desperately trying to prove me wrong. It isn't a bolt-on affair, and that doesn't change the fact that you don't have the power delivery. You could make the car 12x12, and you still wouldn't have anywhere near the power.
You need to look up the advantages of different drivetrain setups. While you're at it, go ahead and look up how the rear diff from a CRV works, and why it'll **** on you before you're anywhere near EVO power. While you're at it, if you absolutely want to go AWD, you should also check out a Wagovan rear diff.
I already gave you everything you need in my first response in this thread. Stop trying to play it off like you have half a clue what you're talking about or doing.
