once you go black you cant go back?
one of my friends told me today, if you go to an H swap in an ek you wont be able to go back into bseries or D.. just wondering if this is true?

Yes, it will own your soul, anyone who cant switch back is weak minded, but I could see why you'd definately feel a difference when comparing a D series motor with an H series, lol

just wondering because, i dont have money to put out for another motor and i already have an H swap.. but i wanna go back to b because my friend is gonna let me barrow his swap.. but something about the shiftlinkage? for the cable trannys you have to cut and crap...

Why go back, the H series engines are so much more powerful and quick compared to the B series, the only liable reason for a down grade would be for putting a T3/T4 turbo which would better run with a B series motor than an H series motor

i think the "wont be able to" comes from the shifter modifications nessessary. alot of how-to's tell u to cut the oem shifter location up.
