Default once again with the buring oil questions.......help......

Ok, so Ive got a 93 del sol si, with a B18C1 with stock internals, and GSR virgin ecu..Everything is fine until I get into VTEC..It smokes, and burns oil when I really get on it, at the upper rpm range..Like 6-8k..But once again if I dont run it into vtec then its fine..no oil burnage..and no smoke..I had the compression checked and it was fine at 180... Please help..I am sure this has been covered in the past..but any help would be awsome. Thanks.

blue smoke is burning oil not black. Its not uncommon for a motor to spit out a little smoke when vtec engages. As long as the motor is running smoothly you shouldnt have anything to worry about.
