Default Omnipower LCA

Before you go off saying that I needed to search... I already did but only found classifieds threads about the LCA's.

Ok, to start off... My current setup is Tokico Blues with Ground control coil overs. I have it dropped pretty far. As you can kinda tell by the picture below I have some camber isses.

I was looking for some nice LCA's and I came across the Omnipower which were a hell of a deal. What I was wondering...

-If anyone has experience with them (Installation)
-Who has ordered them and if they could tell me if they came with bushings.
-Ease of installation
-How much their camber problem was fixed.
-The price they payed and where they got them from.

Thanks for the help H-T.

I don't think omnipower makes lca's.

are you thinking of their camber kit?

I do not wanna do the washer trick also. I cant stress enough I want this done right.

BTW - I just wanna thank Kteller for putting up such great deals... This is where I am getting the Rear LCA's and the front Camber kit from.

they make some, check the sponsor classifieds i forgot who has them but they are affordable the only thing i don't like about them is that they has a big *** star embossed/engraved on it, but other than that i would rock em.

i got some TC Sportline ones from sponsor BodyKits NW for $165 i like the look of these better on my car looks clean to me and has the bling bling effect.

Do you have these installed. How much did it bring the bottom of the tire in?

Edit - Do you by chance have pics of them installed?

I was talking to a friend and he said that putting in a LCA will **** up teh geometry of the car. Like it will mess up the toe and stuff liek that. True?

Yeah, but also, if a shorter LCA is installed.. wont it bring the wheel base shorter causing wierd handling problems?

it will dial in some positive camber in the rear dependinging on how much shorter it is.

yeah. I know that but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Omnipower LCA's to see how much positive camber it added.

I believe that it is the stock length, but thinner in width to run a larger rim and tire without rubbing on the fender well.

I ordered some Omni Lca in order to replace my megan ones becuase i dont like the washers i have to put in between the strut and the LCA just to make up for the bushing being short on both sides..

did they say these are shorter then stock?
because the only one that i know of that corrects camber is the SPC LCA.
why dose everyone always think aftermarket lca will correct camber wtf.
most cases they are stock length. if you want to correct camber get a camber adjustment arm from srr or omnipower.

If you have rear camber issues, I would get a rear camber kit. That way you're not stuck with just one setting. What if the LCAs don't offer enough positive camber or too much? With the adjustable kit you'd be able to set the camber right where you want it.

Besides, I've read a lot of stories here about people buying inexpensice LCAs and having them break on them. So even if you want to get LCAs, get a reputable brand. Omnipower stuff looks good and is a good deal, but only time will tell if they're products will last.

rear toe at 0
camber at -.5

ah I see,
didn't see em on the omnipower site so assumed they didn't makem.

anyways.
yeah, they do have a unique look to them with those shapes cut out.
tcs ones are nice too.

personally, I wouldn't rock either on my car.
an lca really doesn't do enough to warrant having some crazy gold anodized color to it.
however when the alternatives are blue purple or red... gold isn't that bat.

they need to make some gray or black anodized lca's. I might actually consider buying a set of those.

SPC is one of the ONLY rear LCA manufactures i know of that makes them shorter.

IMO its the worst way t fix a camber problem

I have the spc arms and they arent made shorter to correct your camber. they are made to correct tire rubbing. it brings in each wheel about 1/4 inch. if you combine it with their rear camber kit then you can bring them in and youll not notice a difference in handling if you get it properly aligned.

yeah, if by difference you mean a shitty downgrade.

heh funny guy. my car handles like a champ as well as many other spc arm users as long as they did things the right way. Care to tell me where you get your information/experience from? or are you just talking out your ***?
