Omni power full coilover vs GC w/koni yellow
Ive been looking at both setups for a while now and just when i'm ready to pounce on the yellows and GCs, i read all these great reviews about the omni power coilovers. My concern with the omni power coilovers is that i read in another thread that you can only lower the car using the shock body to about one inch/one finger gap in the wheel wells. To lower it more you would have to lower the spring perches which would reduce the travel of the piston. I want no wheel gap and i am not too concerned with dampening/rebound adjustability because ive had my illuminas on all 4s all the way around since i bought them so you can tell i dont mess with it too much. Can i drop the car low enough to eliminate wheel gap with GCs and neuspeed koni yellows and still have plenty of strut travel? Anyone with experieces/comments on this?

You will be able to drop the car with the Omni's until there it no wheel gap by only adjusting the shock body length. My car has about a one and a half finger gap all around and there's still plenty more to drop, but I just choose not to. This is with 195/50-15 tires also.

i just had a PM with someone else about these and he confirms what I said about the omni power coilovers. They wont get rid of wheel gap with the shock body alone.

koni's and GC are FAR FAR FAR better then the omni power's. omni's aren't adjustable. ding ding ding koni/GC wins

iam gonna have to go with the gc and koni set up....... my bro got them with the spring rates changed and he loves them 
and as for the omni coilovers i dont like them.
and as for the omni coilovers i dont like them.

I had my springs preloaded and never touched the spring perch again. The shock body lowered my car plenty, the car was basically tucking tire in the rear, with plenty more thread to go. However, your ride quality goes down quite a bit when you are that low.
