Default This is what happens when you install an Omni front camber kit upside down (I'm idiot of the month)

Installed the Omni upper control arm on my EK. Drove the car for ~60 miles and this happened. I was on the freeway and all of sudden I heard this loud noise the front right of the car. the car dropped like 2 inches, that tire locked for a second and it pulled me over one lane. Thank god no one was in the lane right to me. I pulled over and this is what I saw. Has this happened to anyone???
EDIT : I'M THE FRICKEN MORON FOR INSTALLING IT UPSIDE DOWN.

DUDE! I think u installed the arm upside down! That could be the answer. I have a similar camber kit, looks exactly like it, but my arm is right side up. Opposite to how u have it now.

LOL, I wonder if "not reading the instructions" is covered in the warranty?

OMG hahahaha that is funny.

In all seriousness, however, it's a good thing you didn't get hurt. Please make sure you read up on ANYTHING you install in the future!

new thread titles:

"i got owned"

"i don't know wtf i was doing"

"no instructions = poo"

"no instructions owned me"

"****"

no hard feelings, it happened, now there's nothing you can do but replace it or use your OEM ones til you find a replacement

Ya... I hear ya, but when u took off the stock ones it should have given u a clue as to how it was suppossed to sit. And ur friend never mentioned anything on how to install? The kit can be salvaged, all u need is a new ball joint, hopefully the arm didn't bend.

Also, check the lower balljoint and the tierod balljoint while you're down there because it's possible they tore as well.

I think I won for the poster child for the "idiot of the month" people don't do what I did. LOL

on a different note I noticed the stock control arms has the marks S01 stamped on it and the Omni arms has S04 does that matter?
