Not to hijack your post bro but when I bought my coupe it had one of those APC aluminum wings. So I took it off and left the brackets so rain wouldn't get into the trunk. You don't know how many times I got asked if that was for a bike rack. LOL

I have a Yakima for my coupe, it was not cheap. One warning you won't leave it on all the time. When I put mine on I lose 4-8 MPG and I'm not joking.

last i looked the thule was like $100 for the gutter less system with the hatch back you will need the short roof line adapters I think around 50 and a set of load bars 35. that is just the roof rack then you need the bike mounts around $100 and you wanted the spoiler about $55 figure on around $350 then you might want to get the lock set to protect your investment. there not cheep I would look for a used system and replace any damaged parts

I want to say i spent $350-450 for my Yakima setup. Which included lock cylinders, one bike tray (was the top of the line model ) one wheel holder, fairing, 48 inch cross bars, and the towers.

It looks nice my coupe, but the MPG drop is bad enough that I only install it when I need it.

You're telling me. My friend got a Thule rack for his benz, the carriers for the surfboards create SOOO much wind noise.

Squeeze the bike in the hatch with fold down seats.

Dont go with the roof rack, there is no reason. I had the trunck type one and there was no noticable noise or mpg loss not to metion height clearance issuses. When I was in colorado I saw a civic hatch with two black bicycle tire racing stripes along its roof because they went into the parking garage at the hotel I was at. I was interesting (and loud) to witness.

Trunk style FTW
(pardon any mispellings, I've had too much to drink)

Put your bike in your hatch. It's free and easy and don't you dare tell me that it doesn't fit, because I know for a fact it does. Or, if you're not a complete bitch, just ride your bike to wherever you were going in the first place.

Most people don't want their bikes inside the car, because we ride them. After I come back from riding the trails my bike has mud and **** all over it, and I'm not sticking it my car so my interior can get torn up and dirty.
