ok Question p28 ecu in 95 civic cx jdm d15b why is the p28 ecu smoking right from the start up? Why?

Default ok Question p28 ecu in 95 civic cx jdm d15b why is the p28 ecu smoking right from the start up? Why?

ok I am going to honda-tech this. I was about to buy a ecu from pherable.net or some place like that my buddy has 2 p28 ecu's and before I even get to drive them they start smoking bad like right from the start up they worked in his car fine but why in my car? I dont understand has anyone have had this problem?

that makes no sense dose he have the same car as you?

are you using his conversion harness if needed did not catch what car this is in?

well he was using it on his 95 civic coupe so I am just going t oget my p05 chippped for cheaper so I dont know p28 ecu's do not like my car for some reason I keep burning them up

chip the thing with good base map and thats the end of your problems so far as geting the thing to run with out problems

of cause you need to get the car on the dyno to max all of your gains from whats in the car good luck as for what ecu weather it is a p28 or p70 dose not matter because your tuning the thing for your setup
