That it actually worked lol, now i want to know how many people were actually scared i ****ed up my car. lol. Sorry that was DOHC4lifes idea But yea it actually worked, you could feel a big difference (atleast i did) on how much turbo spooled after it made boost alot smoother then before. So far no problems with my turbo, no leaks, no nothing. But alot smoother.

Heres a little write up for everyone also. First off big thanks to DOHC4life because it was his idea to do my car and he did most of the work (mainly because i was to afraid fo it ****ing up so i made him do it and i say the ok)

Theres 3 ways you could do Seafoam, one is putting 1/3 into the crank case, 1/3 into the brake booster and 1/3 into the gas tank. We did 1/3 in the brake booster and 1/3 in the crankcase, but i didnt do the gas tank because i wasnt sure, plus the coin told me not to. The coin is never wrong.

Aight first up heres the motor: Stock GSR, T3/t04 .60/A/R .63, DSM 440cc's, VAFC tuned. (thats the important stuff to this write up the rest doesnt matter):

Checking out the Sparkplugs before we start (Macro owns y0!!!!!)

Now first thing we did was put it through the brake booster:

Disconnect this line going to the Manifold

We didnt have a funnel so we slowly gave the Manifold a "drink" of the green stuff.

Now when doing it like that SLOWLY put it in, if you put to much in the car will die. And to start it your going to have to put your foot all the way on the gas to get the car to start again. So if that happens be warned.

Now when your done feeding it the 1/3 through the brake booster hose give it a couple trips to 3k and watch all the smoke fly My car had alot of carbon. I have exhaust leaks so there was smoke ****ing everywhere (to bad we didnt take a picture of it, we were trying to breath )

Next we put it in the crank case. To do this just put it in like you were going to add oil. This is where it scared the **** out of me, because this is oil thats feed to my turbo, so now we get into the scary part. I couldnt do it, lol. I had Brad do it cause i was being to much of a ***** to do it.

gotta love homemade funnels

proof that its going in ::gulp::

Now thats about it, what did we get out of it? Hmm lets see..... we went for a ride with this stuff in there and came back. First thing i noticed, smooth turbo spool. But did it actaully clean, lets pull the plug.

Remember that first one, here it is after the green stuff.

I should have really taken that pic before we went driving, oh well.

hmm hows my idle doing:

right where its suppose to be.

So what does this mean??? Seafoam IS turbo friendly, and damn good for it too i think. I think im going to **** what the coin said and put it in my gas tank anyway, probably clean out my injectors a little.

You mean between the fins? No i didnt, but shouldnt the oil from the oil feed travel through that side of the turbo as well?

The smoke was bad but not that bad, its mostly just white smoke so by the time it gets over your head it goes away. Just looks like your putting out a engine fire or something... lol.

So did you change your oil yet? When you put that stuff into your crankcase you need to change your oil before too long because it thins it out.

Just FYI.

Anyways, we had fun doing this. Victor was very couscous about what we did and how much we put in. (mostly in the crankcase).

I have a video of us driving with the seafoam in the crankcase and after we changed the oil, but the sound is really crappy. It can be posted on request.

Well, I'm sure that both Victor and I hope that everyone gets as much information and has as much fun as we did.

That's what we did after our "sprited drive" Victor had fun touching the hot oil too.

Now who would have thought that the turbo would make the oil hotter then before

on me for not thinking about that

Spark plugs were cleaned with the Seafoam

seafoam is good stuff.

I have personally "seafoamed" my dad's 89 camry,
my ek, and brothers DA.

Brothers DA had thick carbon filled smoke.

Make sure you guys change spark plugs, oil, and check
your seals after.

you know on the bottle it tells you to turn the car off for 5 minutes and let it sit in the engine while the car is turned off Im gettin ready to do this my self for the first time.. But I need to take the denso's out.. You might want to change your oil as well.. Also about adding it into your gas.. It says on the bottle it is a fuel stabalizer one of the ingredients is tulean which I think you can add to your fuel to increase the octane.

i tried this on my gsr motor a while back and i was amazed as well. the whole motor felt smoother at idle and while being driven.

instead of just replacing my spark plugs i just put some old plugs in there to run the seafoam and then after i was done i just put my normal ones back in.

I use "disposable" funnels,I get a pack of the paper cone cups that attach to the side of orange water coolers people put on on the back of work trucks, cut the tip/bottom off, wham, instant disposable funnel.Seems like a 50 pack was $3.50 or somewhere around there.
