well...the quick E-fix might be to tell the guy to bleed it.

But...WHY did air get in the lines in the first place? It's a closed system. It shouldn't need to be bled of air unless there's a malfunction.

Fix the problem, not the symptom. It's the same reasoning as not ONLY taking cough syrup if you have bronchitis. The focus should be to fix the bronchitis...not make the cough go away for a half hour.

Look at the fluid level in your clutch master cylinder. If it's low or gone, there's a leak. It may be internal or external.

An internal leak will probably not involve any air in the lines/system.

An external leak, if left unchecked, will introduce air into the system.

Internal leak meaning that there is fluid blowby on the MC seal INSIDE the MC.

External meaning it's leaking onto your carpet from the MC or leaking on the ground from the lines, MC or slave cylinder.

If there are no leaks and your MC is holding pressure well, then there are other issues maybe with the clutch not disengaging.

A clutch wearing out in a normal fashion wouldn't make it hard for you to shift. The fluid doesn't engage the clutch. It helps DISENGAGE the clutch.

Did the problem just start or did it occur 3 months ago as well?

You could just have a loose line or a bad slave cylinder. You can use your D series slave cylinder if you still have it.

Check your fluid level and see if it's low. If it's not low, try bleeding it. If bleeding it doesn't work, you have issues with the MC or Slave cylinder's internal seals. Probably the MC.

If it is low....find out where the leak is coming from and fix it.
