honestly, i doubt its worth the hassle. i'm sure welding is the best bet to avoid bondo problems down the road, but if its a stock hood why don't you keep an eye out for one in the marketplace, junk yards, etc. you could get it cheap for sure

yea the local salvage yards want like 100 to 150 bucks. and i already got tiger hair and bondo left over from fixing the usual honda quarters that rust out. so id like to use the left over supplies up

you may be able to get away with bondo, but with the flex that goes on in the hood when closing, i'd be worried you'd have problems down the road. i'm sure someone on here has tried it before though

the best thing would be to cut a square hole around the drilled hole then weld in new peices, grind the welds and use bondo to cover that. if you do it right there is only need for a very small amount of body filler.

dont use jb weld, thats not gonna work very well. just do it right the first time so you dont have to do it multiple times. weld in peices

i would weld up some small squares under the hood and just weld the holes up. grind it down and use minimal filler. more work than buying a hood from a salvage yard
