Ok i have swapped my automatic to a 5 speed from a d15 to a d16 i was told to use the d15 intake on the d16 so i did now it is idleing weird if i start it up it will go from 1500 to 3000 then back down an repeat only when the clutch is engage or in neutral. Also if you have it in 1st the idle will go up an then back down so there is alot of jerking lol. but other then 1st no problems. I was wondering if i could put the d16 intake mani back on but i got to looking at the d16 intake mani an the throttle body is in a different spot an facing up not left. An so this is my problem also i have 2 hoses i have no idea where they go my intake mani is cold to the touch as well after driving for about an hour but my antifreeze is full so i dont know what is causeing the problem prolly the gasket an those 2 hoses but idk where they go lol. Please help I just want my car so sound beatuful again.
