All B-series transmissions will fit all B-series engines. Now if it's hydro as compared to cable, then you'll have to rig up a hydro system for the car, but technically yes it will work.

I dunno about the ECU.

Drag II is correct.

Tranny is different, ECU is similar and should work fine.

Default ummm...

A d-series tranny won't work with a b-series motor and vice versa, etc etc...I thought you were already driving your new hybrid around? What's wrong now?

input shafts are differant, the gears won't physically line up....It's like trying to say a square is round....they are 100% incompatable

wasn't he asking if his 93 ls would bolt to the hydo tranny???? i thought that the all of the b-series were pretty much interchangeable. that means his 93 motor will bolt to his 94 hydro tranny, right? i don't think he is asking about a full swap just the motor itself, i think.

Just to reiterate...your ex tranny will not work w/ the ls motor reguardless of the year, and and a hydro tranny will not work w/ motor equiped for a cable tranny.

Not to beat a dead horse with all these confusing questions, but I'm puzzled...
How is it that you have a 95 EX "Cable" Tranny?
Check your clutch mastercylinder and see if the fluid is topped off.
I thought all EX's with 5 speed manual transmisions were hydro.
Am I the one who's nuts here?

Not to be a dickhole, but I read in a post on 7/4/01 that he said this engine was a bit torquey and stuff and and jumps off the line....then on 7/10/01 that said he was having trouble finding a place to put the engine in.
Hey Inaniac! Clear this up for us. Have you dropped it in, or did you get
caught slippin'?
Just giving you a hard time, but be real, G.

That's exactly what I've been asking him subtlely in every single one of his posts! LOL. He ignores me though, hahaha. If you read all my posts, I'm being a real pest about it...I want to know the truth, damnit!
