Default ok, h-t.... help me decide my next step with my eh2!

alright, guys... i'm really stuck on the fence right now with which way i should go with my 'project eh2' right now, so I thought I'd get the opinion of my fellow h-t members to help me decide the best route to go, given my current situation.

I have a '93 dx hatch... I bought it back in august in not-so-perfect condition, and since then I've been trying to get it back to a respectable state. It had a bad case of quarter panel cancer, and I had that repaired with new metal welded in place of the old rusted sections. Other things I've done so far were sand and paint all three wipers with flat-black enamel, I've replaced some random broken stock parts, and I dropped the stock tape deck/speakers for a sony deck and a pair of 6 1/2 coaxials.

Just recently, I managed to blow the internals out of the stock muffler, which included a 15 ft. long piece of cloth that was dragging behind me for 40 miles before I even realized it. Now, everytime I go WOT, all I hear is a 'pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffft' sound.

However, I have a few other problems with the car I need to address sooner or later, too. I have a completely scratched-up, faded milano red paintjob, a non-funcitioning rear defroster grid, a clunky front left suspension, key scratches on all 5 windows, a bad VSS, and a scratched-all-to-hell windshield.

So... my question for you is... what is your opinion on my next step with my project? As of this moment, I have 3 different steps I might take.

1:

replace windshield, hatch glass, stock muffler, VSS, si/ex front lip. no fun aftermarket stuff, but oh well... at least I'm getting things back to near-perfect stock shape.

2:

replace exhaust with rs*r ex-mag, replace VSS. replacing stock parts, and some aftermarket... best of both worlds! (this is the option i'm leaning towards most at the moment)

3:

replace exhaust with spoon N1 axleback, keep remaining portion of exhaust until swap at the end of summer. replace VSS, and windshield.

4:

forget everything else listed above for now, and go with a set of omni-power coilovers to resolve the clunky and terrible-handing stock suspension.

5:

save the money towards a paint job. all the other ghetto-*** broken/beat-up stuff can wait!!

All of these things listed above are going to be around the same price (~$650), minus a paint job, of course. That's just about all I have to spend right now. All of them seem like great options, and I've been debating on which to go with for over a week now, with no final decision in sight.

So thanks for participating in this stupid poll... I appreciate it!!
