that's easy.
First your friend has to be a decent driver.
As for a fast naturally aspirted B16 engine setup:

- High compression pistons such as CTR.
- Some kinda proven power maker camshaft of your choice.
- Lightened valvetrain to aide the camshafts of your choice.
- an FPR (fuel pressure regulator)
- adjustable cam sprockets for when you dyno tune
- a reprogrammed ecu to take advantage of the changed powerband the camshafts of your choice will change (higher redline)
- Type-R intake manifold
- Ported throttlebody (if you want)
- a good header, such as the JG/edelbrock 421 or JDM 4-1 header
- a non restrictive exhaust system...you'll probably want to uncork your muffler at a drag strip though.
- A type-R transmission or a Hydro B16A tranny w/LSD. If you go with the ITR tranny I suggest a 4.785 final drive to help get you down the 1320 quicker.
- Lightend f.wheel is optional, although it doesn't make any power it just might give you better 0-60ft times...i think.
- of course some kinda sticky tires (slicks) but you might be able to run high 13's on some good street tires, i've had friends run in the 13's on non-slick tires.
- Lighten up your cars body or see if you can run mid 13's with just the motor alone being built....that's up to you.
- DYNO TUNE your engine once you have all of the performance parts added on.

...i'm sure i left a couple things out, but that's the meat of it..

and then theres boost too!!! Pick which one you like and start building! Make sure to dyno tune your car at different stages along the way to get the best results
