Default oily air filter-d16y

can anybody tell what the cause? is any harmfull to the motor?

The crank case vent on top of the valve cover that goes to the intake tube will have small amounts of oil go threw it and it will end up on the air filter. This is normal especially for an older motor with higher miles.

i spot some leakage around distributor. does the intake suck that oil vapour while engine hot? do i need to change the air filter after fix that distributor leak?

Yes the intake suck in the oil and crank case vapors while the engine is running. A leaking dizzy Oring will not cause oil to go into the air filter LOL.

I just worked on a girls Jetta, She use to own a old oldsmobile that took like 7 quarts of oil...well she put that much in her jetta. That thing was shitting so much oil through the intake ahahah.... You didn't do this did you?

Its probably that hose from the valve cover to the intake like stated before.
