Oil pump..what do I need to replace?
What is the wear item in the oil pump assembly?
I want to replace the 'pump'...but at HAP.com, there's the assembly listed, and then the case set gear.
Which do I need to get? or would either be pointless?
This has really confused me.

yeah, that's where I'm looking...I call it HAP.com for abb. purposes.
Oil pump assembly- 163
case set gear- 147...
they don't come as a 'whole thing'
I was told assembly, so I'll just get that.
I can't afford both anyway.

Oh... haha my bad.
Another idea... contact len on this board. He works at Baranco Acura and can get GREAT deals on OEM parts. I think he charges 25% over cost and free shipping.
770-961-3007 is the number there. He is a great guy and will get you the best deal possible.

I just checked HAP.com ( 
) and the cost for a B16 oil pump assembly (the whole thing) is only $82... what engine are you looking for??

hmm.. you must be looking for an H22 oil pump... I see what you mean now. Are H22 oil pumps belt driven rather than driven from the crankshaft like B series?
