Oil in my coolant!! Head gasket failure!
I noticed oil in my coolant overflow tank last night. Obviously head gasket failure.
When I remove the cylinder head and inspect the gasket, how will I know why it failed? How do I know my cylinder head is warped? Can I know by inspecting the head gasket?
There is 250,000miles on this d15b7 engine.

Once you pull the head, you can use a machinist straight edge to measure the block and head to check for warpage.
There's a pic on how to check the head. I believe you do the block in a similar fashion.

Yep, considering that too. I'd have to rent an engine hoist too.
