Icon2 oil light question

i just have drove my 95 civic with a d16z6 1k miles straight in 18 hours i checked oil levels every time i get gas and its always perfect and once i almost got to where i was going my oil light came on when i was idling at a red light but once i start giving it gas it goes away but when i hold my speed at like 30 mph or what ever speed it flickers so i stopped driving it and started doing research most of people say its a oil pressure problem so i am currently taking the pan off cleaning oil pick up tube and pan. I might replace oil pick up tube depending on condition also purchased a oil pressure switch since its only 10$. Also i change oil and filter every 5k miles. I also purchased a oil pressure gauge n line to see if it is oil pressure problem due to oil pump. BUT!? if i have pressure n replaced all of those parts i just mentioned what could it possibly be? Also when the oil light is flickering when i am holding my speed my battery light flickered once or twice then went solid for about 15 seconds then went off. i have no idea whats going on so i will be researching the web any help would be great thank you.

"my battery light flickered once or twice then went solid for about 15 seconds "

I'd also check your charging system. Make sure the cable off the alternator is clean/tight/ and in good condition all the way.

before you take things apart, replace the light sender, they fail all the time, it's just a little rubber diaphragm in there

If two dash lights are acting up it's probably a cluster issue.
It being tied to speed and idle means something is vibrating. Might have some worn wires which are rubbing, might have some old connectors which are shaking loose, might just have some backlights that are going bad.
It's a lot of work but once you do what lostforawhile says and it isn't fixed, run a check in on your harness and finally, check the cluster itself on the back, huge pain yes

it should be a round sender with a single wire, right near the oil filter, I cant remember if that engine has an oil filter base that unbolts, it might have a rubber boot on the top of the sender, if the boot falls apart, dont worry about it, basically unhook the wire, unscrew the sender, screw in a new one, and hook the wire back up, get some liquid teflon sealer for the threads, any parts store, dont use teflon tape
