Default oil light?

i have a 96 coupe that i just did a y8 swap in and when i turn the car off the oil light comes on. i pull the key out and walk away and the light is still on, when i start the car it runs good and the light goes off... i have a turbo and my return line came off and leaked all my oil out and the oil light functioned like it should. So what is causing the light to stay on when car i off

Electrical short of some sort. I say ditch the dummy light and get an oil pressure gauge and low level light, espeically if your turbo and had your return light come off already. Is it SS line or just some home depot ****?

Try unpluggin that oil sensor on the back of the block. and see if it still comes on. If so i would most deff say, electrical issue.
