Oil leak, help find where its from!
98 GSR in 95 hatch...
The car is leaking oil bad..the pan is not torn, and its not coming from the oilfilter or plug...help me find it. It is running down to where the shift linkage is connected to the trans. Any ideas would be helpfull.

yep. when you pull the tranny off, then remove the clutch and flywheel. you'll see a brown(if oem) round seal connected to your block, which is installed in a plate. just remove the 10 mm bolts holding it. you'll need to press out the seal.

Take a small to medium wood screw, screw it half way into the seal or at least enough to get a good hold, and pry it out. Thats how we do it at work.
