alright so i had a problem with oil leaking on to the transmisson and traced it back to the dizzy. i got the o ring from honda and replaced the the o - ring on the dizzy. now i still have a oil leak but it is not leaking onto the tranny yet but is building up on the bottom of the dizzy. anyone have this problem and can help me pin point the problem

Check your valve cover gasket and cam seals.

B series, D series, H, F, K, C, whatever else is out there depends where this leak might be coming from.

there is a seal thats inside the dist. take off your cap and see if theres oil in it, if so youll have to tear down the dist. and replace that ring.

im goign to bet is the seal inside the dissy

I just rebuilt mine for the same thing . I found the oil seal on line for around $10 the dealer did not have parts for the distibutor. The repair is really easy I have a small write up on it that I did for a friend if you would like it

Seeing how he's in the Civic forum, I would be willing to bet it wasn't a C series motor!

</TD></TR></TABLE>that's not the rt up for the seal inside the dizzy and he stated that he replaced the 1 on the dizzy shaft...BTW I have the same problem replaced the 1 on the shaft and still leaks from dizzy, and I can clearly see where its leaking from when I take off ythe dizzy, its leakin rt dn the side of the bottom bolt

ima take the dizzy off and put some hondabond aroud the dizzy plate and hope it still doesnt leak, I was told that would work but I'll soon find out
