Your PCV valve is designed to suck oil vapors from the block into the intake manifold. Eliminate it all together and run a catch can in line to keep things clean and properly vent pressure from your crank case.

dont listen to this guy he has no clue what hes talking about. there is something wrong with your pcv system. its not just the valve, theres more to it than that. its smoking because its burning oil from the intake manifold.
oil out of your exhaust ports can be alot of things, blowby the rings, valve seals etc. you need to figure out where the oil is coming from. do a compression test, and leakdown test to see.

Re: (boosted_dc2)

Youcould try replacing the PCV valve. But otherwise, excessive amounts ofoil in the PCV system is a sign of excessive blowby forcing oil mist in the crankcase throught the PCV system, and into the intake manifold.

well its not the headgasket either, but dont listen to any of us and go spend time and money on something you dont need to do if you want.
i love when people ask for help, you tell them what to do and then they continue to do what they think is right.
good luck chief!!!

i would do a compression test and see if you getting lower numbers in #1 and #3. if you are then its probably rings. if not then you need to evaluate your pcv system. eliminating it and installing a catch can is an easy way to be sure it will function properly.
but if it is noticably differnt in 2 of the 4 cylinders, then its probably NOT your pcv system

Do a leakdown and report back.

agree. you should do a cylinder leakage test. im highly leaning towards your piston rings. did you install it correctly?
