Oil found all over the underbody......
The was oil all over the underbody the last time i changed my oil. I think it was motor oil, but it was really really clean.......however, i hardly had any oil in my motor, when i checked it. All other fluid levels seem normal. There is one corner on my oil pan, where the gasket is, that seems alot wetter than all the other areas around the oil pan(where it bolts to the block). So I went out and bought and oil pan and gasket. My original pan was rEALLY marred up.......dents galore and scrapes........did i do the right thing??.....is THAT most likely the problem?? And one more question......do i need one of those spoon magnetic oil plugs?? Thanks *****z!!!!!! Peace out!!!

Did you check to make sure the oil filter and drain plug were tight before you went out and bought a new pan and gasket?

Agreed here. The most common cause to your problem is usually the oil drain plug is leaking. You would be amazed at how much of a mess it can make.
