Oil in Coolent, Need some advice.
94 dx hatch auto d15b7 around 151k car runs real smooth but needs valve adjustment
i replaced the coolent (w/ tstat) a couple months ago and checked it last night and i found a pretty good amount of oil in my coolent resivoir.
my car does overheat in idle when it sits for a while but never passes 75% on the temp gauge, could my headgasket be leaking? or any other explainations? thanks
right now i'm parting together everything for a z6 head mini-me swap i should be doing soon and i will be replacing the timing belt and water pump when i do this.

It could be the head gasket (same problem I have right now) but if it's a lot of oil then you may have a crack between a water jacket and an oil gallery. In that case, just get a new block when you do your mini-me. How much could a D block cost anyway? By the way, is there coolant in the oil as well?

1.) you can get that engine from any local junkyard for $300 plus core.
2.) you can get a headgasket for that engine from any dealership for under $60 and ARP headstuds from Summitracing.com for under $100.
Make up your mind and fix the problem. The specifics are up to you.
